UKIO Members Vote to Accept Pay Offer

The Ballot for the UKIO 2017 Pay Review has now closed and the members have voted to accept the offer.

The full result was:-

Accept the offer    90%
Reject the offer     10%

Turnout     45%

The Company have been made aware of the result and any pay increases will be effective from 1st April.

PGDS 2017 Pay Ballot

The 2017 PGDS pay ballot opens this morning.

Following talks with the Company the offer is a 3% pay pot.

In our pay survey over 55% of members said they wanted a settlement of between 2.5 – 3%. We believe that following the pay talks we have achieved this.

As a result of this your NCC are recommending members Accept the Offer.

The ballot closes midday on Thursday 2nd February.

UKIO 2017 Salary Review Ballot

Friday, January 20th, 2017

The 2017 UKIO Salary Review ballot will open later this morning.

Following talks with the Company the offer being put to the members is:-

• 3% merit pot

• Minimum FTE Salary of £17,813 for employees based in London (equivalent to London Living Wage) with no change to the minimum salary of £17,117 for employees based in Reading and Craigforth (equivalent of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s Minimum Income Standard)

• Confirmation that as per prior years, pay anomalies will be will be monitored and addressed accordingly via “out of cycle” increases

In our Pay Survey over 50% said they wanted a settlement between 2.5% – 3%.  This settlement is at the top end of this and therefore the NCC are recommending acceptance.
