UKIO Restructure – Member Meetings

Following the announcement on Monday regarding the restructure of the UKIO Business, Unite Prudential Section have set up members meetings to hear your views on the what has been announced.  The dates, times and location of meetings are as follows:-

Friday 2nd May, Room 9:01, Paddington, 2.30 – 3.30

Wednesday 7th May, GB Conference Room, 121 Kings Rd, 1.30 – 2.30

European Elections

We are now in the period leading up to the European Elections.  The UK media appear to be giving a dispropotinate amount of airtime to the views of Nigel Farage and UKIP.

UKIP are peddling myths about the impact of immigration in the UK.  To help dispel these myths a Unite sponsored thinktank CLASS have published a booklet on why immigration is good for all of us.
